Software Spotlight: iLife and iWork 08 |

In August Apple gave us a little summer treat in the form of new iLife and iWork suites. iLife 08 is packed with enhancements to your favorite Macintosh apps like iPhoto, iWeb and iDVD. Bringing new features like iPhoto Events and new Themes to iWeb and iDVD, iLife 08 is well worth it's $79 price tag. iMovie is totally new in iLife 08 with a ground breaking new interface for editing home video and great features like built-in YouTube publishing. iWork 08 received some major enhancements, including a whole new program - Numbers, a spreadsheet app like none other.
Pages and Keynote also received new features including a new Layout Design mode in Pages and fresh themes for Keynote. Numbers now completes the iWork suite, offering a full range of apps for creating the best documents, presentations and spreadsheets, all for $79.
